This the second of these that I ordered. Good construction.I love this design, the whole thing was so easy to put together and I absolutely loved it. I use it for my coats so you can't even see the design of it, it just looks like a regular coat stand. So if you're using this for guests' usage & display purposes - it's worth the money. If you're using it for a personal, everyday use, I'd go with a cheaper, more basic one. It really does just look like any old coat stand.Another note - the water catcher will not work unless you have a long umbrella.I just got this and put it together in under 15 minutes. It is now in my entry with coats on it. It is much better quality than others I've looked at. It is stable due to the included weight in the base. The nobs are not flat but rounded so they won't damage coats. My only suggestions for design changes would be to make the umbrella drip pan aluminium instead of plastic and to add a protective tip to the ends of the umbrella holder.I would recommend this product to anyone. Needed two people at one point in assembly. Looks great, and is it sturdy! The base must weigh a ton but it won't fall over! I also like the finish on it. It was packed for shipping extremely well. After reading reviews about other coat stands arriving chipped or scratched I this very hard finish. We are most pleased with this coat stand.Do not buy! Sure it's easy to assemble and in theory it seems pretty sturdy that is until you hang men's and women's winter coats on it.. The 11lb base doesn't help it constantly tips over. The small base is the issue I even added patio umbrella sandbag to it it still fell over.Today I had enough I through it out and went to Ikea and bought their coat rack which doesn't tip over! Sorry I spent the money on this poorly engineered coat rackUnfortunately this product is not very sturdy - we've only had this a few months and it's already broken. To be more specific the stand has fallen over due to the weight of the coats we've placed on it. Even more specific - the location where the main part of the stand attaches to the base has bent over. To be clear - we did not "overload" the stand with coats...although even if we had placed many coats on the stand I would've hoped for a stronger product. So we now have to shell out additional funds to purchase a new coat stand.then fell over. Now, if you only intend to hang one or two light jackets, this is the stand for you. If, like the rest of us you are buying this because you have 752 jackets all over the place and just want to get about six-eight out of your way, some of which are heavy winter coats, have it next to something because it will keel over if you put a jacket on each of the spots that it has.Sturdy, stylish, and easy to assemble. Love the umbrella holder.I bought three coat stands for the house when I moved in. This is the only one that’s lasted - the other two are now in the bin replaced by two more of these. Simple to construct, no problems with toppling due to weight or bits constantly coming loose. Looks good and stands the use that other similar products can’t.Spent half an hour looking through the different stands , and eventually chose this one. We only need to hang a couple of coats, a handbag and an umbrella, but we wanted something modern and understated. This is perfect. Well packaged. Came the following day. Easy to follow instructions, so had it erected in 10 minutes. Wouldn't suit a large family, but great for the two of us. Highly recommended.Very quick delivery and assembled with great ease even quicker than anticipated.Well built, sturdy, stable and stylish as well. Great value for money. What's not to like! After putting two coats on, it starts to tilt. If you put three or more coats on, the whole thing falls and it scratched my wall. AVOID.Very tall when assembled. Had to guess the height. I thought would be a bit smaller but it's ok, it's great quality. Also holds umberellas at bottom
