Revise in parentheses ( still a beautiful coat, slimming and long but the dang zipper won’t work after a while and I heard that from other comments . Shame on this company). Old review: I love this coat. The stylishly large hood looks beautiful wrapped around my brown girl face in the sun. These hoods are popular in nyc. Hilarious to hear people complaining about them. It’s what’s in! Coat fits perfectly snug and makes you look thinner if you are 5’7 or more. The blue is gorgeous. Looks perfect on me and feels warm.I was looking for a longer coat to cover my cheeks during the winter, had a decent hood, and one that was warm without being too bulky. This coat checks all the boxes and then some! I am tall, 5'7" with long arms and torso and broad shoulders, I went with the medium. I worried that it would be too big and bulky on me but it surprisingly fits me well. Plenty of room in the shoulders, sleeves hit me just right and I have room to wear layers if need be. Oh and I love the front pockets, they open on the top and are big and roomy for gloves, phone and keys...I always worry about the slit pockets because they are never deep enough and my phone always falls out. The bottom-front hem hits me just above the knees and that back hem hits right above the back of the knee. If you are on the shorter side, this coat might be a little long on you. I've only been able to wear this two times since I bought it, but both times it kept me very warm. All in all, a great buy, the fabric and stitching look/feel top quality!Four stars to start:Fits as expected as far as chest/shoulders/arms. It is longer than expected (not a bad thing). It seems heavy and should be warm. The pockets are plentiful and deep (which is the primary reason I selected this coat).The hood (with faux fur) is enormous. Comically (and possibly annoyingly) so.The coat came in a cloth zipper bag (similar to the ones sheet sets come in). Sadly the zipper stitching was faulty and the first time I zipped it up (after trying on the coat) the pull came off (and there's no fixing it).I bought the coat early because there was a coupon. Hopefully it ends up being worth the price tag (my previous winter coat lasted me 12 years and I could still wear it but felt like a change).Update 2022: I've worn it for two NYS winters so far. The coat is super warm, held up through a couple of washings and so far I see no damage or wear/tear from regular use.I did my research, and looked tirelessly for all the things my daughter wanted in a coat; mid-length, stylish, waterproof, removable hood, two way zip, large pockets...and I read the reviews saying it ran small. So I bought a whole size up. My daughter is an XS (30AA) and this coat was still too small across the chest--so we had to return.This jacket is so warm and comfortable. I didn't buy it to be flattering and in certain angles it's not that flattering however it is warm! It fits great! I am 5'7 and 145 lbs. I ordered a large even though it was recommending a medium because I didn't want it to be too tight with long sleeves or a sweater. Highly recommend and I would definitely order this again.I would have kept this coat if not for keeping a different style Orolay coat instead. Orolay is a nice brand. The zipper on this is sturdy and the coat is obviously very warm for harsh winters. I like the tab feature on the hood so you can pull it back and it won't flop over your eyes. Would have liked a 2-way zipper and I found it just a tiny bit difficult to zip up because when you lean forward, the coat bunches up a little at the bottom and you need a straight line to zip, but it can be done. Personally, the coat was a bit too weighty/heavy sitting on my shoulders. I'm 5'5", 180 and got the XL, which fit okay, but the chest/shoulder area was a little large. Side pockets, of course, would have been nice.The length is perfect to keep my entire body warm in the Montana Winter Snow! I Love the Big Hood for protecting my entire head and some of my face! I've never had anything so thoroughly protect me during freezing weather before! I like to still look stylish while staying warm, so this covers everything for my taste! I especially like the way the sides curve up on the bottom of the coat. It's easy maintenance to wash and dry in the dryer! I highly recommend it!Just wish it zipped from both ends of coat. But very warm!First time buying a winter coat off of Amazon & I couldn't be happier. The quality is fantastic, I've been stuck in the rain & I've had zero leaks. Windy days are nothing in this jacket, you're completely protected and warm. Pockets are large, hood functionality is great. If you have a larger bottom, you can comfortably sit with it zipped up all the way without it being tight.I want something long and warm and this coat is perfect .Absolutely love this coat! It is by far the warmest coat I have ever owned. Bit big on but I think the smaller one will be too neat. Love the length and feel of coat.FantasticThis is such a great coat! Such a high quality and I would have spent a lot more on it! I’m 5ft8 and a size 12 mostly but sometimes coats and dresses are a 14. The Medium is a perfect fit! It’s long and the sleeves are perfect length. I’m very happy with this coat.Also I initially ordered a Large which would be perfect for someone size 14/16. I returned it, it was collected the next day and refund issued straight away. This is a great seller with high quality coats. Highly recommendedAmazing coat. Wonderful quality. Really warm for coat winter days. Looks more expensive than it was. Have worn it out in the snow and was lovely and warm.It is a really nice jacket but unfortunately not the right size. I am 1,65 and I weight 65 kg, so I bought XL..TOO LARGE for me. I need 2 sizes down. I hope I will find it, I will buy it again.
